Audubon ZooAudubon Zoo Average User Rating: (0 votes, add your vote or comments) The Audubon Zoo combines education with entertainment, offering special presentations, animal encounters and a large assortment of diverse interactive activities under the guidance of Audubon educators and trained volunteers. Directions: From downtown New Orleans: Take MAGAZINE STREET South, away from the French Quarter approximately six miles. (Cross Louisiana, Napoleon and Nashville avenues.) You?ll see Audubon Park on your right and Audubon Zoo will be on your left. Turn at the lions and follow Entergy Boulevard to the Zoo. Or, take the scenic route on the St. Charles streetcar. Exit at Audubon Park, then board the complimentary Zoo Shuttle to and from the Zoo. Or cruise from the Aquarium to the Zoo aboard the John James Audubon riverboat, one way or roundtrip.
